Mike M. - Oh, I wasn't going to mention this, but I can't resist. Remember in English class Mr. Pratt asked us what the story was about that we were supposed to read the night before and you had asked me before class started what the story was about and I gave you a line of bull and you raised your hand all proud and Mr. Pratt called on you and when you told him what the story was about, he looked at you real funny and said "NO MICHEAL, you must have read the wrong story" - oh if looks could kill! I sure did get a good laugh out of it, although you were mad at me for awhile -- oh those were the days! Maybe you don't even remember it, but I do. I have to laugh every time, cause I'll never forget your face. Just thought I'd give you something to share with the others, and by the way, tell cuz I said hello!

Just wanted to let everyone know (including the guys "MKM") that Channel X (97.7 FM)is running their daily radio interviews during the news at 5:30am (too early for me, huh Kirk!), 6:30am (better), 7:30am, 8:30am, 11:30am, 4:30pm, and 5:30pm. WAGM TV NEWS(Channel 4) is also running periodic (maybe weekly) updates (they did one tonight). Also, Kirk will do anything to get out of a dentist appointment, huh Kay! P.S. Bet there weren't any naked women in the hot springs at Liard River this time of year - too bad!

Good luck to you adventurous fellows! We at WAGM are following your story closely, and I have a special interest because I just came back home after spending two and a half years in Alaska. I made the trip on the AlCan in a 76 microbus in May, so I admit, I'm a little jealous about the trip YOU"RE making! Did you really see wolves?!!!! And how was Lliard (sp?) in the middle of the winter?! Those hotsprings are my favorite place in the whole world. Anyway, best of luck to all of you, and maybe I'll get a chance to meet you on your return. From me and the rest of us at WAGM, NewsSource 8, HAPPY SNOWMOBILING!!!!!!

Mike M. & Kirk, Even though Mike O. is a wild and crazy guy, you're in good hands. Ride safe and see you all on your return to Caribou. It is pretty cool, there is i picture of you guys on it. I have a basketball game tonight at Easton, I'll let you know how we did. So, have any toes lately? I think Mr. Bougie is sick with out you guys he is going home sick. (I'm at school)It was on the intercom this morning. My eyes started to water all over again!!! Mem is feeling a little better. Well, got to go. p.s. supper is not the same with out you, there is a lot more food. Tell kirk to save some steak for me!!!!! love ya all, ally

Hi Kirk' Thanks for the phone call from Ross River. It made our day!!! We hope that you will be able to visit the Hot Springs in the Liard River area and warm up some. I phoned Mark Baker to find out how they are doing with the pledges for the Pine tree Camp for Crippled Children and the Pine Tree Burns Center and he said he will let you know possible via this Guestbook. We have sent in our pledge and it sure feels good to suport such worth while and local charities. It is very reassuring that you guys are being so safety conscious. Keep it up!!! After reading the story about the sour toe and seeing the colored picture of the sour toe (Yuk!) I am venturing to guess that one Sourtoe Cocktail is enough to last a lifetime!! Hey uncle Michael Ouellette how are you doing? We just heard you on the radio you sound like you are having alot of fun. You said you saw some caribou! Did you take any picture? I know aunt Kathy would like to see them. Michael and Alicia are working hard on trying to figure out that bird that you did know. They think it might be a Willow Ptarmigan, but they are not sure. Please get home safely we all miss you......

Hi Kirk! We are following your journey very closely thru any means of communication we can. (Mostly thru Cheryl - She has been great!) We have the maps plastered all over the wall in the hall in the cellar. I am keeping a notebook of things from and Cheryl and downloads from the net, etc. Your father is really enjoying following along...even wishes he was there with you - at times!!!! We wish you all the best of luck in every way possible. Our love and our prayers for a pleasant and successful but mostly for a safe journey!! Love Mom and Dad
